During my AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps term, I lived in a Yurt, in public park outside of Seattle, Washington for 6 cold weeks. From November to December.

I have confronted my fear of heights while working on a Habitat for Humanity house from the ground up. Putting the Roof on a house was the most terrifying and exciting experience in my life.

I sang for a room of 200+ strangers, after moving 3000 miles away from everyone I knew.

I know love, I give love. I work with children.

I learned to sew with my grandma, we made my junior prom dress.
